Dharma Bum Kids
Playful classes for children.
In Dharma Bum Temple’s words
Dharma Bum Kids meets the third Saturday of every month at 11am. The parents are welcome join the intro to Buddhism and Meditation in the main hall at 11am. Kids and toddlers will be downstairs in the Buddha for You Meditation Hall. This is an opportunity to have the kids join with other kids while parents can sit in community. Please arrive early so there is adequate time to transition kids to classes so we can start on time. We will also be planning gatherings, social activities and camping trips to bring our community together. It takes a village! We foster a sense of belonging, where all families-regardless of background or experience are welcome. We know through direct experience that every stage of parenting can be difficult and beautiful. We emphasize cultivating values of kindness, wisdom, and mindfulness while creating a space where each family member can grow together. Our community has evolved into a group learning experience and is a nurturing environment. Families can build a sense of community, cultivate clarity in daily life, and create a home filled with peace and compassion. Meditation & Discussion for Parents: You are welcome to attend these classes even if you do not bring your kids.
