Levels · A = Beginner · B = Intermediate · C = Advanced This energetic and technically focused Modern Jazz class is designed for dancers with previous experience who wish to refine their technique, musicality, performance quality, and artistic expression. Each class begins with a dynamic technical warm-up that develops alignment, coordination, flexibility, strength, and expressive movement. Particular emphasis is placed on using the full range of the body while dancing with clarity, confidence, and presence. Through Across the Floor exercises, dancers explore travelling combinations, dynamic movement patterns, rhythm, and spatial awareness while building greater control, power, and versatility. The class culminates in learning a choreography that may draw inspiration from classical jazz, contemporary jazz, commercial styles, lyrical dance, or a fusion of different influences. This allows dancers to develop not only technical precision but also performance quality, musical interpretation, and individual expression. Suitable for dancers with previous dance experience at Intermediate level (B) and above.
