A slow, attentive style of yoga

The studio's classes lean gentle and restorative. Yin holds poses for three to five minutes so the body can soften, and hatha asks you to stay longer in each shape, connecting breath and movement. Yoga nidra, often called sleep with awareness, is practiced lying down and suits a quieter session.

For students with more experience there are flow classes with strong sequences of traditional postures, and BURN by Body Medicine blends yoga, mat Pilates, strength, cardio and breath, set to music.

How the week is shaped

Most classes run in the morning, and roughly a third begin before 9am, with popular starts at 6:15am and 7:30am. Evening classes make up about a third of the week, and the timetable goes as late as 7:30pm. Weekends have fewer classes, and the busiest days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Classes are usually an hour long, and shorter sessions such as Trigger Ball and meditation fit into a tighter day.
