The Song Circle: Winter
Practice with people who feel like community.
In The Salisbury Centre’s words
About the Event The Song Circle is a welcoming drop-in singing group to come together to learn beautiful, simple songs and harmonies taught by ear. You do not need any music or singing experience to come and sing with us; all songs are simple to learn and are taught on the day – this group is for anyone and everyone who enjoys singing. The group will be held in the light and welcoming space of the Art Room. We will begin with a stretch and vocal warm-up before learning each song individually; we will take time to honour the songwriter, story, history and origins before each song. In total, there will be an hour and a half of singing with a break halfway for a cup of tea.
