My mission behind creating this series is to bring more peace to the community and to the world. It is designed to fill you with serenity, and healing that you can spread throughout your community, while at the same time spreading awareness and helping nonprofit organizations throughout Hawai'i continue their amazing work. 100% of the ticket sales will be donated to Oahu Youth Action Board. The Oahu Youth Action Board's vision is to ensure that there are no youth sleeping in tents on sidewalks, or sleeping in parks on O'ahu. Their goal is to make sure youth are safe, have a roof over their head, and are not exposed to violence, or exploitation. They strive to create a well-run system to help get youth out of homelessness as soon as they are ready, and want help. The O'ahu Youth Action Board is composed of members, all of whom are age 29, or below and 100% of which have experienced homelessness or housing instability. The youth come from different situations, experiences, and represent various sub-populations such as: Native Hawaiian, Micronesian, LGBTQ+, former military, parenting, working, and children of homeless families. The Oahu Youth Action Board is an important way the community can leverage youth input in a meaningful, ongoing way. OYAB also empowers youth by providing opportunities for positive development, youth choice, confidence building, and leadership. About this event This Gentle Aerial Yoga/Sound Healing event is designed to help bring a little peace, and comfort into your life. Rest and restore in an aerial hammock! Let the aerial silk cradle you, and safely support you as you explore restorative yoga postures, both inside the hammock and on the ground.
