FREE Do you need a little spark to light your way into a new season of teaching? We’ve got some fresh approaches for you to try! We’re looking for 10 experienced dance instructors of any discipline to attend this valuable session. This mindful movement workshop gently blasts you out of that same ol’ same ol’ teaching and coaching with something fresh and sparky for your students and clients. In this workshop you’ll learn deeply effective techniques to get your dancers into proper body positioning. “Proper” positions align with body mechanics. These positions are natural to the body’s geometry… once you help your dancers to find them. This somatic way of “finding” a body shape or stance connects mental imaging with body sensations - it’s perfectly mindful! Using the Path’s mindfulness techniques, Legacy Founder Renée Tillotson shows you how to get dancers - or movers of any movement format - out of their worry heads and into their bodies. Now tuned in, without the mental chatter, students more easily pick up new and unfamiliar moves. Renée also sprinkles on the secret sauce to make it fun! With Kumu Māila’s compassionate, inclusive Path to Moving Meditation approach to hula, everyone feels supported, not judged. No need for comparison or competition. Encouraged and elevated, her students keep coming back for more. Be inspired by her use of imagery and sensation to guide students’ arm movements and full body positioning. See how she does it! Both Māila and Renée make you feel safe and warmly invited into the space, whether you are joining from home or in person. Are you perhaps seeing injuries that you just know could be prevented, but you’re not sure how? Having any problems with students’ concentration? Dancers getting frustrated comparing themselves to others? You can resolve many of these issues through the methodologies we teach at Path to Mindful Movement. So, if you are an instructor with at least 5 years in your discipline, including 2 years of teaching experi
