In Hype Fitness’s words
Country music is an American genre that grew out of the rural South in the 1920s, blending British and Irish folk ballads, fiddle tunes, blues, and gospel. It’s built around storytelling, with simple melodies and instruments like acoustic guitar, fiddle, banjo, and the weeping pedal steel. Songs often deal with heartbreak, drinking, hard work, faith, and small-town life. Over the decades it’s branched into styles ranging from honky-tonk and bluegrass to outlaw country and today’s pop-influenced sound, with Nashville as its home base. This 45-minute LIFT class puts the FUN in FUNctional strength, cause d’em weights might be heavy but our vibe ain’t. Let’s build strong, healthy bodies that move with confidence! Feeling nervous? No worries. We are a body-neutral, no-ego studio. The HYPE team loves new faces and will work with you on any concerns you have before starting class. A 5-minute grace period is offered for all classes, but your spot cannot be guaranteed if there is a waitlist.
