Calling all moms to be! The next cycle of our Prenatal Yoga 5-Week Series runs from Sunday, Nov. 15 - Dec 20. Prenatal Yoga uses gentle stretching and strengthening movements, restorative poses, and mindful breathing exercises to help expectant mothers stay in shape and prepare for the physical demands of labor. Moreover, prenatal yoga allows mothers-to-be to connect with each other in a safe and supportive environment. It promotes not only their physical health, but also their emotional and spiritual wellbeing. As with any physical activity, participants should first consult with their doctor before starting prenatal yoga. WHAT TO EXPECT This series is being lead by Jennifer Pinna. It consists of 5 weekly sessions, each lasting 60 minutes. Meeting on Sunday evenings, they are limited to a maximum of 12 people. The teacher guides participants through a wide range of yoga poses and breathing techniques tailored for the needs of pregnant bodies.
