The styles and classes

Vinyasa is the backbone of the timetable, and most of those classes are open to all levels. Power Vinyasa and Power Hour bring a stronger, more energetic pace, while Yin with Catie and Yin with Lenie offer longer holds for a slower session. Restore and Kundalini appear less often, so they make a quieter counterpoint to the rest of the week.

The studio also runs classes built for specific life stages. Prenatal and postnatal yoga appear across the timetable, and a Kid's Capoeira class gives younger students their own hour. A free community class is listed as well.

When the classes run

Most classes start in the morning, and the earliest begins at 7am. The busiest start times are 9am and 10:15am, so the morning is where the timetable is fullest. In the evening, the 6pm and 7:15pm starts are the common ones, and the day closes around 7:15pm.

Wednesdays, Thursdays and Mondays carry the most classes. Each class runs about an hour, which keeps the schedule easy to fit around a working day.

Round Willow Yoga: questions and answers

Where is Round Willow Yoga?

Round Willow Yoga is at 3504 Highland Ave in Tree Section, Manhattan Beach. Its classes are mostly yoga, and nearly all of them run in its studio on Highland Avenue. The studio's own website has the current timetable.

What kind of yoga do they teach?

Most classes are marked all levels, and Vinyasa is the style that appears most often. Power Vinyasa and Power Hour bring more strength into the practice, while Yin and Restore slow things down. When do most people practice here?

Is it a good place for beginners or for pregnant students?

Yes. Some of the classes are for pregnancy and the months after birth, and a few are for children. Many of the classes are open to all levels, so it is a practical place to start. The studio's own website has more detail on each class.
