Come and sing with us. Kirtan is a co-creation between all of us: we sing mantras together, carried by harmonium and ukulele. With every repetition the sound grows deeper, until many voices become one single space. In the Naad Yoga training we fell in love with practicing together. From that grew our shared Sadhana singing, and the joy in it is so big that we want to share it with you for an evening. One of Analia’s gifts is her beautiful, heart-touching voice. She has been singing kirtans for many years, plays ukulele and harmonium, is a sound guide, and holds space with great warmth. David, who comes from music and dance, sings and plays harmonium. I sing along and help with the choice of mantras. What connects us is our love for the practice and for each other. This is where the music of the evening comes from: we dive deep into the mantras together and let community become tangible. “Sing, listen, and keep love in your heart. Pain departs, and peace comes home.” (Japji Sahib) You don’t need to be able to sing or know the mantras. Just come with an open heart and vibrate with us.
