Following the rhythms of nature can be a beautiful way to bring more awareness and intention into our yoga practice. As we welcome the New Moon, traditionally associated with new beginnings, reflection and setting intentions, we invite you to spend an hour exploring the connection between movement, breath and sound. We’ll begin with Chandra Namaskar, the Moon Salutation, moving through a fluid sequence inspired by the qualities of the moon. With each movement, we’ll explore a slower, more meditative rhythm, allowing the breath to guide us as we gradually transition from movement into stillness. The second part of our practice will be dedicated to an extended sound bath, where the vibrations of singing bowls and other instruments invite us to rest, listen and turn our attention inward. A moment to reconnect with ourselves, reflect on what we would like to cultivate and welcome the new lunar cycle with fresh intention. Open to all levels.
