The shape of the week
South Boulevard runs most of its classes in the morning, with about a fifth starting before 9am and the earliest at 5:30am. The busiest start times fall at 10am and 11:30am, and a second cluster appears in the late afternoon and early evening at 4:30pm and 6:30pm. Evening classes run as late as 8pm, and a few weekend classes fill out the rest of the week.
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are the days when the studio is most active, so those are the days with the widest choice of times.
Heat, yoga and pilates
Bikram hot yoga and hot yoga make up most of what is on offer, and yoga is the main practice across the schedule. Pilates has a smaller place here, with inferno hot pilates and mat pilates on the timetable for people who want a different kind of work. Most classes are about an hour, and a handful run 90 minutes, which gives room for a longer practice.
The studio is built around sweat. Almost every class is designed to make you work up a sweat, so the heat and effort are part of the experience rather than an extra.
