What AirFitness offers

AirFitness is a fitness studio in Adlershof with about ten facilitators and a varied timetable. Most of the classes fall into two groups: mobility and stretch work, and joint-friendly training that builds strength and coordination. Yoga, pilates and breathwork appear alongside them, as do hot iron cross strength training and step-based cardio.

The studio's own description points to a mix of equipment and movement. The fitness floor includes bio-feedback training machines with screens, a cardio area and functional training with and without equipment. Jumping fitness takes place on a trampoline, and the studio also has a climbing wall.

When and how to practice

Morning sessions make up the largest share of the timetable, with the earliest classes starting at 7:30am. The busiest start times fall in the early afternoon and at the end of the working day, between 12:15pm and 6:15pm. Monday, Tuesday and Friday carry most of the week's classes.

Most sessions last 45 minutes, which keeps the practice short enough to fit around work. Medical yoga runs for an hour, and dynamic yoga for 30 minutes. Classes are taught in German, and no pass is needed to book them.

AirFitness: questions and answers

What kind of classes does AirFitness offer?

Most of the classes at AirFitness are fitness, strength and mobility sessions. The yoga and pilates on the timetable sit alongside jumping fitness, step and hot iron cross, so it is a place to train as well as to stretch.

How long are the classes at AirFitness?

Most sessions here run for 45 minutes. Medical yoga runs for an hour, and dynamic yoga is the shortest at 30 minutes, so a short session fits easily into a working day.

When do classes at AirFitness take place?

Classes start as early as 7:30am and run until 7:25pm. About a third of the classes fall in the morning, and a fifth each at midday and in the evening. Monday, Tuesday and Friday are the busiest days.

Is AirFitness suitable for beginners or people returning to exercise?

Yes. Gesundheitssport, medical yoga and autogenes training are built for people who want gentle, supervised movement or a calm pause. The sessions are led by trained facilitators who adapt the work to each person's physical limits.
