What the practice is like
The classes at queer yoga berlin are mostly vinyasa and power yoga, and nearly all of them are built around flow. Many add breathwork, and more than half lean toward strength and power. About a third bring in meditation, gong and bowls, or a feeling of release at the end of the practice.
The session names give a sense of the range. Slow Burn is a power vinyasa flow for beginners that works through the sequence step by step. Monday Fire is a dynamic power sequence for levels one and two, and Fluid Strength is an all levels vinyasa flow that combines strong movement with a centering close.
When and how to come
Classes run in the evening, starting between 6:30pm and 8:15pm and lasting about 75 minutes. Monday and Wednesday are the busiest days. The classes are led by a small group of facilitators, with Micha and Inanna teaching the most sessions.
For a first visit, Slow Burn and Fluid Strength are good places to begin, since both are designed for a wide range of experience.
