What is practiced here
Yoga is the core of what Sun and Moon Yoga offers, and more than half of its classes are yoga. Vinyasa is the style that appears most often, and gentle classes such as In Studio Slow Flow and In Studio Yoga for Stress Relief sit alongside it. Hot Vinyasa Flow, Somatic Yoga and Pelvic Core Yoga Fusion add other ways of moving.
Classes focused on core and pelvic floor, mobility and stretch, and flexibility are offered in smaller numbers, so the week has room for a varied practice.
How the week runs
The studio runs its classes across the morning, midday and evening. The morning holds about a third of the week, with the earliest start at 6:30am, and the busiest start times are noon, 9:30am, 6pm and 7:30pm. Tuesday, Monday and Wednesday carry the most classes.
About ten facilitators lead the classes, with Carlie Chislof, Jennifer Hollister, Joan McGee, Lindsay Celaya, Elle Knippen and Paula Denton among those who teach most often. Classes are taught in a handful of studios.
