What the classes are

Most of the timetable is yoga in the Jivamukti style, which is flowing, physically demanding and open to all levels. Vinyasa and meditation appear often, and chanting runs through a large share of the classes. Alongside them sit gentler forms: yin classes with long passive holds, yin combined with crystal bowls or essential oils, prenatal yoga, and a few sound baths and breathwork sessions.

Class lengths vary, with 60, 75 and 90 minutes all on offer. The Jivamukti Spiritual Warrior class is a 60-minute practice for people who want a full Jivamukti session in one hour.

How the week runs

Classes are spread across the day, with about a third of them in the evening and roughly a fifth each at midday and in the morning. Weekend classes are fewer, around one in ten. The busiest days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The team is a couple of dozen facilitators, and Lan, Jule, Suzy, Jörg Buneru and Lamina teach the most classes. Most of the timetable is in English and German, with nearly all classes taught in English.
