What the studio offers

Most of the schedule is yoga, taught in graded levels from Stufe 0 through Stufe 1 and Stufe 1-2. Alongside the core classes there are Pilates sessions, a short Pilates Flow that focuses on core strength and stability, and a few offerings for balance, mobility and stretch. Inside Flow pairs yoga with music, and Dufte Stunde is a themed hour in the same studio.

Classes are 75 minutes long, with the Pilates Flow at 60. Most are in the evening, with a solid share in the morning and very few at weekends.

The space and the people

The studio is in the Restauration zur Erholung space at Mülheimer Straße 5. It opens 15 minutes before each class, and classes begin on time. The team is a couple of dozen facilitators, with Claudia, Vanessa, Brigitte, Oliver, Petra and Michael leading the most classes. The studio website describes its own approach as yoga with care for the body and mind and a clear distance from esoteric trends, and it also offers online yoga and a video library for practicing at home.
