What the studio teaches

Nearly every class at 4S Ranch is a Pilates class, and most are taught on the reformer. Core and pelvic floor work runs through the timetable alongside strength sessions, and a number of classes are described as strong. Typical classes run 50 minutes, such as the 4S Ranch 50 Minute Sculpt Reformer.

The focus is clearly on deliberate, controlled movement rather than variety of style. That makes the studio a good fit for someone who wants to build a regular practice around one method.

How the week runs

Morning is the heart of the week. More than half of the classes start before noon, and about a third begin before 9am. Popular start times include 8:15am and 9:15am, and the earliest sessions begin at 6am. Evening classes are fewer, with popular slots at 4:15pm and 5:15pm, and the latest start is 6:15pm.

Tuesday, Thursday and Monday tend to be the busiest days. Weekend classes make up about a fifth of the timetable.
