What the classes focus on
Most classes at soultide are mobility and stretch work, with flexibility as a common theme. Front and middle splits and backbends appear again and again, alongside sessions on hips and release. The studio describes flexibility as something that can be learned, and its classes focus on steady progress rather than pushing hard.
For those who want to move through the air or the floor, the studio offers aerial and floor choreography, including handsprings, invert work, hammock sequences and chair dance. Heels & feels and sensual floor classes bring a more expressive, personal side to the timetable.
How the week runs
The week is busiest on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and the evening is when most people practice. Classes typically last 60 minutes, and some longer ones run 75 minutes. The studio also keeps a free training slot where you can work on your own on the mat, the pole, the chair or the aerial equipment.
