Friday release in Ibiza
Friday release gathers the classes in Ibiza that start in the evening, when the working week is ending. Most are strength-based sessions such as Lagree and barre, which ask for focus and effort and leave little room for thinking about anything else. The evening starts make it a natural way to close the week.
Where to start: LAGREE SOCIETY IBIZA - Studio Lagree Fitness (Santa EulĂ ria) in Santa EulĂ ria des Riu or ANAYA Studio in sa Real
It suits you if
- you want a demanding class after work
- you prefer strength and control to slow flow
- you have a free evening on friday

When the classes run
The collection sits mostly in the evening. Starts run from 5pm to 7pm, with 6pm, 5pm and 7pm the most common, and there are no morning, midday or weekend classes. Friday is the busiest day, so the evening is the time to plan around.
Most classes are around 45 minutes, which fits neatly after a working day. Anaya Studio in sa Real and the Lagree Society studio in Santa EulĂ ria des Riu carry most of the sessions.
What the classes are like
Lagree is the central style here: slow, deliberate movements with long holds that build strength across the whole body. Anaya Studio describes its full-body class as progressive and challenging, and its barre class as ballet-inspired, focused on posture and endurance.
Across the collection, barre, strength and sweat-focused classes each make up about one in ten sessions, so the rhythm is steady and physical. Every class asks for your full attention, which is the point of a Friday release.
Friday release: questions and answers
When do most people practice on a Friday in Ibiza?
Most classes run in the evening, and Friday is the day the Friday release collection leans into. Starts range from 5pm to 7pm, with 6pm, 5pm and 7pm the most common times.
What kind of classes are in the Friday release collection?
Most of the classes are Lagree, a slow, controlled style built around time under tension. Anaya Studio and the Lagree Society Ibiza studio in Santa EulĂ ria des Riu both offer it, and a handful of barre, strength and sweat-focused classes sit alongside it.
Are these classes suitable for beginners?
Some are. The Lagree class at Anaya Studio and the barre class are marked for experienced practitioners, and the sessions are described as challenging. A first class at a calmer pace is a sensible choice if you are new to this kind of training.
How long are the classes?
Yes. The classes are typically 45 minutes, with a barre class at Anaya Studio running 60 minutes. That makes them easy to fit between work and the rest of a Friday evening.
Which parts of Ibiza are the classes in?
Santa EulĂ ria des Riu and sa Real are where the collection gathers most. Santa EulĂ ria has the Lagree Society studio, and sa Real has Anaya Studio.
Who leads the classes?
Rebecca Vericel and Valentina lead the most classes in this collection. The classes are taught by a handful of facilitators in total.
