When the classes run
The schedule leans early. More than half of the classes start in the morning, and about a third begin before 9am, with the first start at 6:15am. Evening classes make up roughly a third of the week, with the latest start at 5:30pm. Weekend classes are few, and midday is quiet, so the rhythm of the studio is set by early morning and early evening.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are the busiest days. The most common start times are 6:30am, 9am, 5:15pm and 5:30pm, which gives the week two clear peaks.
What the classes are
Yoga is the most common practice, and it runs in several forms: heated vinyasa, power yoga, power yoga flow, yin and yin-yasa. Strength work follows closely, with strength and conditioning, triple threat, total body tone and TRX classes. Pilates appears in its own classes and in fusion formats such as Pilates fusion and yoga barre Pilates fusion. Cycling and InsanityLive sessions make up the more intense end of the timetable.
For a calmer start, the yin and restorative classes are the slowest in the timetable. For a first visit, a gentler yoga class or a Pilates fusion session gives a clear sense of the studio's approach.
