What the classes cover
Pilates is nearly all of what happens at Explore Pilates, and reformer is the style that shapes most of the week. Classes like Reformer Pilates Foundation and Reformer Pilates Strength and Mobility sit alongside Reformer Plus and Reformer Cardio Jump, so the range runs from careful work to more energetic sessions. Tower workout Strength and Stretch adds another way to train the same body.
Most classes last an hour. Mobility and stretch and strength each feature in about half of the timetable, which makes the studio a place for steady, sensation-led practice rather than anything fast or intense.
Shape of the week
The morning carries most of the timetable, with the earliest class starting at 8:45am. Midday and evening each hold about a fifth of the classes, and the busiest start times are noon, 10:30am, 11:15am and 7:30pm. Weekend classes make up about a fifth of the week, and Saturday, Wednesday and Monday see the most sessions.
Patrick Alegre leads the largest share of the classes, and the studio works with a handful of facilitators in total. Visit explorepilates.co.uk for the current timetable and to book directly.
