A focused reformer practice
Nearly all of the classes at Studio Fourteen are Pilates on the reformer. The timetable is built around this one practice, which means the facilitators know the equipment well and can offer clear guidance from the first session. Most classes are open to all levels, and a smaller share are marked as a first class ever, so you can find a time that matches your experience.
The classes are generally 50 minutes long. About a fifth of them are early starts before 9am, which suits people who want to practice before work.
Who leads the classes and where to start
Studio Fourteen has a handful of facilitators who lead the classes, around ten in total. Several of them teach a large share of the timetable, including Sophie Brace, Andrea Petkovic and Sammi-Jo Taylor, so you can get to know a familiar voice over a few visits. Hollie Hopkins, Sophie Hurley and Amelia Harris also lead many classes.
For a first visit, look for a Reformer Beginner class. The facilitator will guide you through the carriage and pay attention to how you are settling in, and from there you can move on to Reformer For All when you feel ready.
