In Darman Yoga & Wellness’s words
Meditation is an ancient, time-tested practice of returning to presence through breath and focused awareness. In this class, we’ll go beyond simply “sitting” by exploring how to integrate meditation into everyday life. Together, we’ll discuss and practice a variety of techniques inspired by teachers such as Thich Nhat Hanh, Eckhart Tolle, the Dalai Lama, Michael Singer, Pema Chödrön, Steven Hagen, and others—helping you discover a rhythm that feels authentic to you. This class is designed to support both beginners and seasoned practitioners in navigating the “monkey mind,” cultivating calm amidst the challenges of our times, and learning how to return to equanimity when life feels overwhelming. While we’ll do some short sits, the emphasis is on learning how to sit, how to sustain presence, and how to carry the benefits of meditation into daily living. ✨ This is a donation-based (“dana”) class, with a suggested minimum donation of $5.
