What the studio practices

Link Yoga is built around yoga, and most of its classes fall into that practice. Power yoga and vinyasa each make up about a third of the schedule, and strong classes are a similar share. The Sunrise Session, a 60 minute power vinyasa flow, is one of the studio's clearest examples of its strong, flowing approach.

Gentler classes are part of the mix too, about a fifth of the schedule. Gentle Rest runs for 60 minutes and gives a slower pace for a practice that asks less of the body.

How the week runs

Classes at Link Yoga start as early as 6am and continue through the day into the evening, with the latest start at 7pm. Mornings and midday each take about a third of the schedule, and evenings about a fifth. Common start times include 6am, 3:30pm, 4pm and 7pm.

Most classes last about 45 minutes, while some, like the Sunrise Session and Gentle Rest, run for a full hour. The studio has no weekend classes, so the schedule is weighted toward weekdays, with Monday, Wednesday and Friday being the busiest days.

For children and teens

Link Yoga offers children's yoga and a preteen and teen class, each around 45 minutes. These sit alongside the adult classes, so a family can find a session for each age group at the same studio. The facilitators here include Paula, who leads the most classes, and a handful of others across the schedule.
