Reformer and the wider Pilates timetable
Reformer is the heart of the timetable at MUMA House. Most of the classes are built around the machine, and the studio also offers a gentle, beginner-friendly reformer session for first-time students and senior students. Alongside it you will find barre classes, including Barre Burn, Barre Corps, Barre Plié and BARRE SCULPT, which use the bar and small, repeated movements, plus Pilates on the mat and a few strength and yoga sessions.
If you have never used a reformer before, the gentle class is the place to begin. The facilitators are used to new students, and a first hour on the machine tends to feel more like learning the carriage and springs than like a workout.
When classes run
Classes run from early morning, starting at midnight on the earliest listings, through to the evening, with the last start at 8:30pm. Mornings and evenings each make up about a third of the classes, and a smaller share falls at midday, before 9am and at weekends. The busiest slots are the 8am and 9am mornings and the 7pm and 8pm evenings, and Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are the fullest days of the week.
Because there are hundreds of classes across a handful of sessions each week and a team of about ten facilitators, the timetable is wide enough that most people can find a slot that fits their routine.
