Yoga and flow at asteya
Yoga is the core of the schedule, and vinyasa and hot yoga show up in more than half of the classes. Power Fusion 1 and Power Fusion 2 are the flow classes most visitors start with, and Hot Flow Fusion is the signature set sequence, heated to 104 degrees. Sound bath classes and candlelight sessions add a quieter layer to the week.
Strength, barre and Pilates
Strength and sculpt classes are a large part of the studio's identity. Sculpt Fusion runs as a music driven, high energy class, and Barre-lates blends barre and Pilates into a low impact unheated session. Prenatal strength classes combine a gentle warm up with resistance work for the legs, glutes and core.
How the week runs
Most classes at asteya last 60 minutes, with 50 and 75 minute options for some formats. The early morning and midday starts are the busiest, and a smaller share of the week falls on weekends. Classes are open to a wide range of levels, with a few aimed at first timers and at people in pregnancy or after birth.
Asteya Collective: questions and answers
When do most people practice at asteya?
Yes. asteya runs most of its classes in the morning, with a good share before 9am and a busy 6am start. Evenings are fewer, and the latest class starts at 6pm.
Can I try asteya before I commit?
The studio lists a first class for $15, so a visitor can try the space before committing to anything longer. Most classes last 60 minutes, with a few 50 and 75 minute sessions.
Is asteya good for beginners?
Yes. Power Fusion 1 is a level 1 vinyasa flow built around breath and movement, challenging enough to work up a sweat but gentle enough to learn the basics. Pre and post natal yoga and gentle classes are also on the schedule.
What kinds of classes does asteya offer?
Vinyasa and hot yoga lead the schedule, and yoga as a whole makes up most of it. Strength, barre, Pilates and sculpt classes fill out the rest, along with prenatal and postnatal work.
Who teaches at asteya?
Kristin Lovett, Christina D, Katie Costantini and Fallon Lev teach the most classes at the studio. A couple of dozen facilitators lead classes across the schedule.
Are the classes heated?
The studio runs heated and unheated classes. Power Fusion 1 is heated to around 85 degrees, and Hot Flow Fusion is heated to 104 degrees. Barre-lates and the prenatal and postnatal classes are unheated.
