What the studio practices

Pilates makes up nearly all of the timetable at Studio 25, and reformer classes are a clear part of it. Classes labelled for the back, core and pelvic floor, flexibility, and mobility and stretch sit next to strength-focused sessions, so the schedule can suit a range of goals.

The classes run through the day. About half begin in the morning and a fifth before 9am, which makes early practice easy to fit in. Evening classes make up about a third of the week, and the busiest days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Who leads and who it suits

The studio has about ten facilitators, and Dani, Dave, Annie, Julie, Liz and Ebony lead the most classes. Levels are clearly marked, with beginner and first-time classes alongside intermediate and experienced ones. Most classes run an hour, and some shorter 45-minute sessions are also on offer.

For a first visit, look for a beginners reformer full body class or a first-class option, and choose a time that fits your week. The studio's website lists what is coming up.
