What the classes are
Yoga is the core of the timetable at FROVO Family Studio, and most classes are some form of it. The studio offers yoga flow, which links breath, strength and mobility with a focus on alignment, and gentler sessions for postnatal and prenatal bodies. Core strength classes use yoga poses and targeted exercises for the abdomen, back and pelvis. There are also pilates classes for women, and a functional training class for full-body strength.
For families, the studio runs parent and child yoga, classes for babies from around six months and for toddlers, and open free play sessions in its movement areas.
How the week runs
Most classes take place in late morning and midday, when the studio is busiest, with starts often at 10am, 11am, noon and 1pm. Mornings from about 8:30am and evening classes up to 8pm are also on the timetable. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the days when the most classes run.
Classes are about an hour long, with family sessions often running two hours to include free play. Around ten facilitators lead the classes, with Tetyana, Nadine, Fernanda, Elena and Leoni teaching the most.
