Social Reformers offers a well over a hundred classes across the coming weeks, and nearly all of them are pilates on the reformer. The studio works with about ten facilitators, and a handful of them lead most of the sessions. Classes run for 50 minutes, which makes the schedule easy to fit around a working day.

The classes are pitched at different levels. About half are open to all levels, about a third are marked as strong, and around one in ten is a first class ever. Names such as Fondamentaux and Intense show the spread, from grounding work to a more demanding session.

How the week runs

Most people book in the morning or the evening. Around a third of the classes fall in the morning, another third in the evening, and a fifth at midday, with the rest on weekends. The busiest start times are 9:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm and 5:15pm, and the days with the most classes are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Most of the classes can be taken with a Wellpass or a ClassPass, which makes regular practice simpler to plan. The studio is on rue Brochant, and the address is easy to reach from the rest of the 17th arrondissement.
