What the classes are

The classes at SPIN are built around movement and strength. Boot Camp, Zumba, Arms and Abs and Pilates are among the regular offerings, and most last about 45 minutes. A group of classes focuses on the core and pelvic floor, and others are marked as strong sessions, so there is a range of intensity to choose from.

The schedule also includes classes that go well beyond fitness. Open court pickleball runs for an hour, and the workshops, such as canvas glue art, pumpkin cheese cake roll and DIY sushi night, run for about 90 minutes.

How the week runs

Most classes at SPIN start in the evening, with the busiest start times around 5:30pm, 6pm and 6:30pm. Early risers can find a smaller group of classes beginning at 7:15am, and a few classes take place at midday. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are the busiest days of the week.

The studio does not offer classes on weekends. Around ten facilitators lead the classes, and a few of them teach most of the schedule.
