What the classes are
The schedule at The Metta Space is built around yoga and meditation, with yoga making up more than half of the classes. Kundalini appears often, combining specific breathwork, mudras, eye-focus and mantras with physical postures. Those sessions usually run about 75 minutes.
Alongside them are quieter options. Yin Yoga asks you to hold floor-based postures and slow down, and Tai Chi is taught as a moving meditation rooted in classical Chinese martial arts. Sound baths and gong-and-bowl sessions add a different texture to the week.
How the week runs
Most classes begin in the evening, and the 7pm start is the busiest of the day. Morning classes are also common, with starts as early as 8:45am, and a steady share of classes falls on weekends. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the days when the most classes run.
Facilitator Victor leads more classes here than anyone else on the schedule. The studio also hosts occasional community gatherings, including a three-hour healing day that combines practice with time to connect.
