What the classes are
Roughly a third of the classes at Verge are strength-based, with names like Functional Fitness, Strength Lab and Women's Strength. A similar share focuses on joints and mobility, and another third is labeled strong. Most sessions run about 50 minutes, so a visit fits neatly into a lunch break or an early or late evening.
The yoga side is smaller but present, with Yoga Flow and Power Yoga on the timetable. Power Yoga is the more vigorous of the two. Regen and Recharge and X30 offer shorter sessions for recovery or a quick workout.
How the week runs
Classes begin as early as 7am and run through the day into the evening, with the latest start at 6:30pm. Starts cluster at noon, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm, and about a third of the classes fall in the evening. Classes run on weekdays only, with Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays the busiest days.
Verge has a handful of studios in the area and about ten facilitators, with a few leading most of the classes. A visit works well as a weekday habit rather than a weekend plan.
