What you practice here
Pilates is the heart of the schedule at telegraph studio, and nearly every class falls under that name. Reformer classes make up more than half of the timetable, using the machines that give a sense of spring and resistance through the legs and torso. Mat pilates runs alongside them, roughly a fifth of classes, and is a good choice if you prefer working on the floor.
The studio's classes are named clearly, so it is easy to see what each one involves. Equipment classes include reformer, reformer foundations, therapeutic reformer and springboard, while mat classes are labeled by level, from foundations to intermediate and advanced.
How the week runs
Mornings carry about half of the classes, and about a fifth begin before 9am, with the earliest start at 7am. Midday offers a steady second window, with the busiest starts around 12:30pm and 9:30am. Evenings are lighter, with about one in ten classes after 5pm and the latest start at 6pm. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are the busiest days.
Most classes last about an hour, which keeps the sessions easy to fit around a working day. Weekend classes are fewer, at roughly one in ten of the total.
