What the classes are
The studio's classes are mostly yoga, and the styles that come up most often are power vinyasa, hatha and yin. Many sessions are marked strong, and a smaller share are gentle or aimed at more experienced practitioners. The power vinyasa classes tend to run 75 minutes, which gives time for a full flow and a longer resting pose at the end.
If you are not sure where to start, look for the hatha classes. They are paced more slowly, and the 60 and 90 minute versions give you room to learn the postures at your own speed before you move on to the faster sessions.
When the classes run
The week leans toward the evening, which holds about a third of the classes. Mornings carry about a fifth, the weekend another fifth, and midday only about one in ten. The earliest class starts at 8am and the latest at 8:15pm, with noon, 4:30pm, 9:30am and 8:15pm among the most common start times.
Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday are the busiest days, so those are the times to book ahead if you have a favorite slot. Classes are taken on a drop-in basis, with no pass needed.
