What the practice looks like
The schedule is built around meditation. Nearly all of the classes are meditation services, with a smaller share of calm sessions that have a gentler, more reflective pace. About one in ten are kirtan services, where chanting and music take the place of quiet sitting. Reading services, which are shorter and centered on a text, also appear through the week.
Most classes last about an hour. Meditation services are often closer to 45 minutes, and kirtan can run much longer, so plan your morning around the one you choose.
When the classes run
Nearly all classes start in the morning, between 10am and 11am, and the weekend carries most of the schedule. Saturday and Sunday are the busiest days. There are no classes before 9am and none in the midday or evening.
Because the rhythm is set around weekend mornings, this is a place that fits a slower start to the day rather than a quick session before work. Arrive a little before the start time to settle in.
