What the practice is

Nearly all of the classes at AiO Gym Reformer are on the reformer. Most of them combine functional, dynamic movement with Pilates-inspired exercises. The sessions give attention to the core and the pelvic floor, to joint mobility and to strength, and the tone is described as strong.

The studio also offers a Beginner Reformer class, which gives a gentler entry point for people who are new to the machine.

When classes run

Classes begin as early as 7am and continue into the evening, with the last sessions starting at 7pm. More than half of the timetable falls in the morning, and about a third in the evening. The busiest start times are 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8:30am, and the days with the most classes are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Sessions are typically 55 minutes long.

About a fifth of the classes take place at weekends, so the studio fits both a workday routine and a weekend one.
