What the classes are

The studio's classes are built on urban dance. Groove and foundation classes work on the basics of every urban style, with a focus on rhythm and musicality, and every two weeks the class narrows in on one style. Choreography classes put those basics together into sequences, with freestyle and advanced training to build control in the body.

Commercial classes bring several dance styles together into a single performance-focused routine, built for the stage. Open Floor offers a longer, freer session where you move with whatever you feel in the moment.

How the week runs

Most of the classes take place in the evening, and the most common start times are between 5pm and 7:30pm. Classes run most often for an hour, with some lasting 75 minutes and the Open Floor sessions lasting two hours. Mornings are not part of the schedule, and the earliest start is noon.

The studio's kids and teens courses are offered for younger dancers, separate from the adult classes. The Starter concept class gives newcomers a clear entry point, with basic steps taught in detail.
