Pilates on the reformer and beyond
Reformer Pilates is the core of the studio. Most of its classes run on the reformer, and the energy varies from flow classes, where exercises link together with more intensity and coordination, to slower sessions built around breathing and stretching. Yin Reformer, described as a 45 minute slow class for stretch and release, sits alongside more demanding levels, so you can match the class to how your body feels that week.
Beyond the reformer, the studio offers barre Pilates with music, mat Pilates for intermediates, and Tower small group sessions with three or four participants. Private and duo sessions are available on all of the equipment, booked by appointment.
A calm, personal room
The studio describes its space as welcoming, and its classes as small and carefully instructed, with calm instructors who take time with each person who walks in. One long-time client describes the classes as one of the few times she can switch off and simply be in the moment, and says the practice has made a real difference to her posture. Those experiences fit the studio's focus on attention and precision rather than speed.
