What the classes are
Most of what happens at Ember Hot Yoga is a heated hour of hot vinyasa or hot sequence. Yoga sculpt adds a strength-focused version of the same warm room, and a noticeable number of classes carry the energy of sweat and strength. Yin and deep-stretch sessions, often running 75 minutes, offer the slower side of the schedule, along with classes built around hips and flexibility.
The studio also runs a smaller set of more unusual sessions, such as a candlelit hot vinyasa and a meditative vinyasa at 75 minutes. A few classes are labeled community, with a $10 drop-in rate, which gives a lower-commitment way in for those who want to try a class before settling on a rhythm.
How the week runs
Mornings carry about half of the classes, and a fair number start before 9am, which suits people who want to practice before the working day begins. Evenings take about a third of the week, with the busiest start times at 5pm and 6:30pm. Midday classes are few, and weekend sessions make up about a fifth of the schedule.
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are the days with the most classes. Because nearly every class is taught in english and most run an hour, a regular practice can be built around one or two fixed times in the week.
