In West Asheville Yoga’s words
Join Cat for a powerful practice to unite breath, body, and mind. This integrative class weaves together traditional Himalayan Kriya—an ancient, authentic lineage of yoga that works directly on the flow of life force energy—with gentle, spacious vinyasa flow and meditation. Kriya is a form of moving meditation, blending pranayama (breath practices), dynamic movement, mantra, and visualization to activate, open, and distribute energy throughout your system. Paired with flowing sequences, each class becomes a somatic journey: an invitation to feel into deeper spaces of the self and move energy through the body. Sometimes energizing, sometimes deeply relaxing, always grounding—this practice honors the authentic roots of yoga while welcoming students of all levels. You’ll leave feeling centered, present, and reconnected to yourself.
