What the classes are
Most classes at Truecore GTX are Pilates, and the list runs from the plain True Pilates class to versions with a flow, a Bridge focus, or a finish of recovery work. Strength is the next largest group, followed by barre and sculpt classes that use the same movement vocabulary at a faster pace. A few classes focus on core and pelvic floor, mobility and stretch, or reformer work on its own.
The classes are led by a couple of dozen facilitators, and a few names appear across the most sessions, including Jordan Pickett, Morgan Miller and Taylar Williams. Several classes are heated, which changes the feel of the work considerably.
How the week runs
Classes run most often in the morning, and a large share begins before 9am. The earliest start is 5:15am, and the most common start times are 8:30am and 9:30am. Evening classes make up about a fifth of the schedule, with 5:30pm the busiest evening start and 6:30pm the latest. Midday is not a time for classes here.
Weekend classes are a small part of the week. Most of the timetable lives on weekdays, and the studio's rhythm rewards people who can get to a class early.
