About Yogalie

Yogalie is a yoga studio in Friedrichshain, where most of the week is given to children. The classes are small by design, with no more than 6 to 8 children in a group, so each child can arrive, be seen and take their own pace. Family yoga and a few workshops bring parents and children into the same space.

It suits you if

  • you bring a child to yoga
  • you want small, unhurried groups
  • you prefer yoga to start in the late afternoon

A studio built around children

Yogalie is a small studio in Straßmannstraße, a quiet street in Friedrichshain. Magalie leads the most classes, and a handful of facilitators share the rest of the week. The classes are mostly yoga, and most of them are for school children who want to move, settle and build trust in themselves.

The group sizes are kept deliberately small, at most 6 to 8 children per class. This makes the sessions calm and personal, and gives each child room to be seen.

Classes and when they run

Most classes run in the afternoon and early evening, with the busiest start times in the late afternoon. The studio also offers family yoga, a 60-minute session where parents and children practice partner exercises, move together and take short moments of breath and rest. Workshops like yoga in the dark change the usual setting, with the room darkened so that sound and movement feel more immediate.

Classes are usually 45 minutes long. Yogalie does not sell passes, so each class is booked individually.
