How the week runs
The studio's week leans heavily toward strength and Pilates. Strong classes make up about a fifth of the timetable, as do Pilates classes, while strength, mobility and stretch sessions each take about one in ten. Mat Pilates, barre, core and pelvic floor work appear in smaller numbers, and qigong and tai chi are offered only occasionally.
Most of the schedule falls in the morning, and about a third of classes start before 9am. Evenings carry about a third of the week, and weekends are light, with about one in ten classes. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are the busiest days, and the most common start times are 5:30am, 7:30am, 8:30am and 4:30pm.
What a class feels like
Classes such as Simply STRONGER, BodyBLAST and UpperBody BLAST give a strong, sweaty pace, while Pilates Sculpt, Butt & Gutt and Strength Stability & Stretch focus on shaping and control. Stretch is the shortest option at 20 minutes, and Nutrition is offered to membership members only.
The facilitators, including Mary, Janine, Abby and Jane, lead a range of formats across the week, so a first visit can start with a class that matches the body you bring that day.
