The shape of the week
Ball4 Training offers a compact schedule of about ten classes. Nearly all of them fall in the morning, with the earliest starting at 9am and the latest at 9:15am. Most of the week's sessions land on weekends, with Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday carrying the most classes.
The classes center on strength, and most have a strong, energetic character. A typical session runs sixty minutes, which keeps the pace contained and easy to plan around.
What a session looks like
The TRX and strength mix combines suspension training with strength work in a sixty-minute format. It is one of the clearest examples of what the studio offers, with equipment and movement working together in a single session.
Hill sprints and a run drop-in are also on offer at the studio's Northwest Highway location in Palatine. These are short, intense sessions that suit people who want to push their cardio alongside strength training.
