What the classes are

Most of what you will find at lifestyle power yoga is strength-led. Classes such as pilates sculpt, sculpt & strength, pilates tabata hiit and core & flow build the core and pelvic floor, while express vinyasa power and vinyasa power bring a stronger yoga flow. Pure yoga makes up about a fifth of the schedule, and gentle or sleep-focused classes are rare.

The day is weighted toward the morning. More than half of the classes run before noon, and about a third begin before 9am, with 5:30am and 6:30am among the earliest starts. The evening has a smaller set of classes, and the weekend is light. Tuesday, Monday and Thursday carry the most classes.

Who leads and how it runs

The studio is a space with a couple of dozen facilitators, and Severson, Melby, McKay, Zimmerman and Wheaton are among those who teach most often. Classes are mostly 45 minutes, which makes it easy to fit a session into a busy morning or a lunch break.

No classes at the studio use a pass, so each session is booked on its own terms when you attend.
