What the practice looks like

The timetable is built around body-focused work. Back classes sit alongside Pilates, mobility and stretch, and core and pelvic floor sessions, so the practice here tends to be about how the body moves and holds itself day to day. A good number of the courses combine classical back care with functional training, and the Pilates sessions focus on coordination and muscular stability.

Alongside this, the studio offers a quieter side. Qi gong, progressive muscle relaxation, restore and gong and bowl sessions each carry a more calming focus. Together they give the timetable a balance between working the body and letting it rest.

The shape of the week

Classes run mostly in the evening, with starts between 5:30pm and 8pm. The studio also holds a smaller set of morning classes, beginning as early as 11am, so the day is covered at more than one point. Most sessions last 60 minutes, which keeps the rhythm of the week predictable.

The team is a small group of facilitators, with Claudia, Michaela and Kim leading the most classes. Because the studio is run from a therapy centre, the courses often carry a health-focused framing, and the class descriptions say plainly what each session works on.
