How the week runs
Pole Land runs dozens of classes a month with a handful of studios' worth of practice spread across a single space in Oberbilk. Most of the week is in the evening, with classes starting between 5pm and 8:30pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the busiest days. A few classes start around midday, but there are no morning classes and nothing on weekends.
About a fifth of the classes are gentle, flexibility or mobility and stretch work. Aerial, flow and yoga make up a smaller part of the timetable. Most classes run 55 minutes, which gives time for a warm-up, a focused technique section and a short cool-down.
Who leads and where to start
Daria leads Frame Up, the Russian dance style that combines several dance forms. She is the first certified Frame Up trainer in Germany. Maurice and Lisa teach hoop with a playful, acrobatic approach, and Charlotte, Gesa, Pia, Dani, Lene and Diana round out the team.
For a first visit, Choreo Beginner or High Heels Beginner give a gentle entry into the pole and movement work at the studio, and Stretching & Mobility is a calm way to prepare the body for everything else.
