What the classes look like
Postnatal and prenatal classes make up most of this collection, and many are taught by facilitators who work specifically with pregnancy and the months after birth. Yoga is the most common practice, with Pilates and strength-based classes close behind. Several classes focus on mobility and stretch, and a smaller group on breathwork, meditation, and core and pelvic floor awareness.
Parent and child classes form a clear part of the offer. These include yoga for mums and babies or toddlers, where the little one can be present during the practice.
Where and when to practice
The classes cluster in Rive, where the Performer studio is based, and in Les Vernets, Les Pâquis, Plainpalais and Coulouvrenière. Between them these neighborhoods cover most of the postnatal practice on this page.
Most classes run in the morning, and about a third fall around midday. Evening and early morning classes are not part of this collection, and weekend classes are rare, so plan around weekday daytimes. The busiest start times are 10am, 11am, 2:15pm and 3pm.
