Pilates and yoga at om yeah

The studio's classes center on pilates, with reformer work on the moving carriage alongside mat pilates. The reformer classes use springs and resistance to train the whole body, and beginner introductions to the reformer are offered for people who are new to the equipment. Mat pilates is offered in a softer version as well as a stronger one, so the work can be adjusted to how a body feels that day.

Yoga sits alongside the pilates. Vinyasa-based flow classes link movement and breath, and yin and gentler stretch classes slow things down. Some classes are described as focusing on neck and shoulders, back, or joints and mobility.

How the week is shaped

The week runs through the morning, midday and evening. Morning classes start from 7:30am, and the busiest start times fall around 10am and 10:30am, while evening classes peak around 5:30pm and 6:15pm. Dozens of classes run across the week, and most are 60 minutes long.

The studio also runs prenatal yoga, with a course for people expecting a child that meets on Fridays in the evening. Most classes are open to all levels, which makes it easy to come back to the same practice in a different week.

Its people are described as teaching with warmth and enthusiasm, and the studio says anyone is welcome regardless of experience, fitness or body.
